The Tiny House project was a joint project of ZigZagSolar and De Meeuw in Oirschot and is located in a special zone in Almere where many other tiny house concepts are being built. This modular design offers fast, affordable, and sustainable housing.
The Tiny House Almere project is unique because the cassettes feature a completely different design, allowing more solar panels to fit on the facade while being less visible from the ground. The cassettes are constructed without rivets, so you only see white panels and a black seam, giving the facade a minimalist appearance that matches the style of the small building. Special solar panels capable of tolerating more shade have been used. Three inverters have been installed on each floor of the building so that every household receives an equal share of the solar energy.
